Overview
Total destruction and an unprecedented loophole combine to create a deeply controversial race. Dick Johnson survives a horrific, total-write-off crash into the trees during the top ten shootout. Overnight, his crew builds a replacement car from scratch. Meanwhile, Peter Brock’s primary car suffers an early mechanical failure.
