Overview

The outright speed barrier is broken as Mount Panorama enters the high-tech era of live broadcast television. Privateer master Allan Grice stuns the mountain by recording the first-ever lap averaging over 100 mph around the circuit. However, the race belongs to Peter Brock and Larry Perkins in their revolutionary VH Commodore. Carrying a heavy, pioneering live "Racecam" inside the cockpit, they deliver viewers a historic first-person view of a masterful, flag-to-flag victory on the mountain.
