Overview
The capos assemble in Dante's cafe. Tommy's in his motel, waiting it out, still thinking this blows over. Tommy makes his case through Danny, who argues for his brother one last time in front of men who have already made up their minds. The vote goes around the table. When it gets to Danny he doesn't abstain, doesn't look away, doesn't leave the room. He votes yes. Johnny grimly signs off, and it's in motion. That night Bobby calls Tommy in his motel. Tommy is drunk and loose and embarrassing, asking if it's all okay, if he can come home. Bobby tells him yes. Lets him talk. Lets him make plans. When Tommy finally winds down Bobby tells him Gino is coming to pick him up. Get ready. Tommy laughs, says he knew Bobby would come through, hangs up happy. Bobby sits with the dead phone in his hand. Gino picks Tommy up and while in the car, he executes him, and drives back with him in the passenger seat. Gino returns to his seat at The Laugh Track and finishes his drink.
