Overview
The Zombie comes from Haitian folklore. Zombification is the ultimate punishment in which society robs criminals of their freewill to turn them into servile slaves. Zombies are not inhuman, but humans outcast from society. And that is what makes them the living dead. In the West, even if we don't call them that, we also have our zombies.
