Overview

Since the summer of 1941, the partisan movement has been growing daily, and members of different nationalities, professions and generations are joining it. Although the majority of partisans are men, women are also playing an increasingly important role. The mass movement also becomes militarily successful, and larger parts of the territory are liberated.
