Overview

New customs duties take effect today: every parcel entering the European Union will face a fee of at least €3, regardless of value. Previously, shipments worth under €150 were exempt. The move responds to millions of parcels arriving daily, many from China, with some products failing to meet EU standards or posing safety risks.
