Overview
Air pollution causes millions of premature deaths worldwide and has been successfully reduced in recent decades. Yet studies show that airborne particles can temporarily slow global warming. Does that mean we need more air pollution? Scientists are clear: no. Protecting public health and tackling climate change must go hand in hand.
