Overview
In this episode with Alberto Angela we travel through the history of one of the most fascinating cities in the world: first a Greek colony with the name of Byzantium, then with the name of Constantinople, for more than a thousand years the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire and for another five hundred of the Ottoman Empire and finally a megalopolis of modern Turkey with the name of Istanbul.
