A boxer dog is brought in with extensive injuries to its pelvis and hind legs from a road accident. Pioneering surgeon Noel Fitzpatrick considers a stem-cell scaffolding procedure - but there are significant risks attached. He and his team also help different animals with broken legs, including hedgehogs, and a kitten that has had an accident at home.
