Overview

After a month in the radium department, Marie finally returns to wing B exhausted - along with Bjørn, no less. But her happiness is short-lived, as Ms. Madsen intervenes to send Marie back to the radium department, where her health begins to deteriorate. Bjørn goes to extreme measures to help her. Birgit is ready to return to work as a stewardess, but things don't go according to plan. And Ruth feels passed over, while the Matron starts to question whether she made the right decision.
