Overview
Manfred Von Richthofen, The Red Baron, was the greatest fighter ace of World War One and perhaps the most famous fighter pilot of all time. Credited with 80 air combat victories, more than any other WWI pilot, he was brilliant tactician and led his "Flying Circus" to unparalleled success before being shot down and killed in April 1918 at the age of just 25.
