Overview
The morning after Ben's proposal, Vanessa is in high spirits and enjoys being engaged. However, it is apparent to see that it is a little awkward for Ben. Although everyone congratulates Ben, Sulaiman knows how he really feels and calls him out on it. Meera is excited about a new project for SMW. However, her excitement is short lived when Joel tells her that they do not have the finances for funding these new programs. Amir forgets a textbook that he needs for an assignment but when Joy comes forward to lend it to him he is ungrateful and bears a grudge against her for making fun of him the previous day. Suzanne feels stressed when her mother Vivian decides to come back to Singapore after her failed third marriage.
