Overview

Kamakura is an ancient capital alongside Kyoto and Nara. Surrounded by mountains and the sea and rich in nature, Kamakura is a tourist city visited by many people. We visit cats living in Kamakura, the capital of the samurai class. We also meet the cats of Enoshima, a very popular spot in Shonan. The cats in the souvenir shop in front of the Great Buddha statue in Hase are idols of schoolgirls. Julian-kun, a cute flower shop owner, is a handsome man. At Engakuji Temple in the Kamakura Gozan (Five Mountains), there are two cats loved by the people. Sumi-chan at Kuzuharaoka Shrine goes around greeting visitors. At Gallery Gigi in Enoshima, you will meet a friendly father-and-son cat.
