Overview
Alluri Sitaram Raju was an Indian revolutionary, known as Devudu in the villages of Andhra Pradesh. He was one of the prominent figures who opposed the Madras Forest Act formed by the British.He motivated the villagers to fight against the British and seize all the guns and weapons from them.The Britishers struggled for a long time to capture him, but he was captured and shot to death.
