Overview
By marrying the Lithuanian prince Vasili Glinski, Anna arrived at the Grand Duke's Moscow court with the entire Glinski family. Prince Vasilije III fell in love with her beautiful daughter, Jelena Glinska. From that marriage was born the long-awaited heir Ivan IV Vasilievich, the future emperor of all Russia, called Ivan the Terrible.
