Overview
MAN spots CHAK inside a property agency. CHAK is vexed with finding his studio a new home. He also tells her about the takeover, his being the half brother of TING and the story behind the building. Sensing his worries, MAN tries to seek the truth from NICK. NICK reasons with TING. TING in turn lashes at KAN for making an important decision behind his back. He further asks NICK to explain to CHAK that the building is not for sale and to replace KAN in handling takeover projects. MAN and Gordon meet ALLY at the property developer’s. ALLY offers to handle the mortgage papers for them. KAN schemes to misappropriate funds of Tung Chuen, which in turn will be injected into a joint credit company set up with loan shark BROTHER LUNG. LUNG asks YAU to prepare a proposal for obtaining the loan. Impressed by its creativity, NICK approves the application.
