Walkin' the Floor Over You

Overview

This episode begins with Rachel promising to stay with a patient during her hip surgery. Rachel then goes to the nurses station to let the others know that she will be in surgery. There Dane is asking Zac about some nursing schools. He is thinking of enrolling in one. Rachel over hears this and asks Dane if he still afraid of blood. He is. Rachel offers to let him observe the surgery with her. He takes her up on his offer. Once they are in the operating room, Dr. Dunkle begins the surgery by harvesting some bone from the patient's hip. But, it's Rachel who faints, not Dane. When she wakes up, she's in the recovery room. Dunkle comes in to check on her. She gets very upset because she has never fainted during surgery. She vows to try again, but when she walks in on a heart bypass, she faints again. Figuring out she has nothing to lose, she asks Dunkle for his advice about her fainting.
