Overview
Gangadhar appoints Tatya Tope for Laxmi Bai's security and sends her to Bithur. The members of a social group, the Shudras, revolt against discrimination. Finding an obstruction en route to Bithur, Tatya Tope goes to check the alternate way and is thrown into the quicksand. Manson's men overpower the palace's soldiers. Laxmi Bai uses her presence of mind and, while keeping the soldiers at bay, rescues Tatya Tope. Ellis comes to their aid and gives Laxmi Bai an assurance regarding her protection.
