Overview
Moropant is worried about Manu and asks Gangadhar to allow Manu to visit Durgawada to perform some holy rituals. Gangadhar tells Moropant that Laxmibai should be present for the flag game. Marshall arrives at the palace and sees an empty palanquin leaving the palace. He wonders why the palanquin is empty. Marshall hands over the British soldiers impersonating as the royal guards to Gangadhar. Samar Singh manages to reach Laxmibai in the prison. He tries to convince Laxmibai to escape but she refuses. Marshall meets Laxmibai in the prison. He praises her and talks ill about Gangadhar Rao. Laxmibai gets angry and warns him not to speak about Gangadhar Rao in such a manner.
