Overview
Moropant is very upset and decides to leave Bithur after the verdict given by Gangadhar. Khanvilkar tells his friend that he cannot wait for the verdict. Chimnabai tells her father that she has full faith in Laxmibai. Laxmibai tells Gangadhar that she is indebted to Chimnabai as she had saved Gangadhars life. She begs Gangadhar to forget the enmity with Khanvilkar and mend relations with him. Gangadhar calls the ministers as he wants to give his verdict. Aaishri tells Laxmibai that she does not want any member of the Khanvilkar family to be in the court. Gangadhar tells the court that he wishes to end the enmity between the Nevalkars and Khanvilkars. He orders Moropant to marry Chimnabai. Moropant is shocked. Aaishri is stunned and Laxmibai is pleased.
