Overview
The story of Lesley and Mark Irwin, who fell foul of a single mother who turned out to be a confidence trickster - she advertised their home as a rental property, and stole deposits from unwitting students hoping to move into the area. Plus, Susan and Gary Bailey, who planned to rent out their buy-to-let investment home in East London and took on an agent to deal with tenants on their behalf. However, after they withdrew from the deal, the couple found themselves locked out of their own property when he changed the locks, and they have been unable to get any help from the police.
