Overview
In the run-up to the parliamentary elections, *Nieuwsuur* is hosting the lead candidates of the major political parties. They will be interviewed by Mariëlle Tweebeeke or Jeroen Wollaars. Political analysts Arjan Noorlander and Nynke de Zoeten, along with economics expert Mathijs Bouman, will provide analysis during the discussions. The broadcasts are live and have a studio audience. For these election specials, *Nieuwsuur* has invited nine parties. The selection was based on the average of the current number of parliamentary seats and the projections in the polling indicator.
