Overview
Baby Samantha has surgery to remove congenital cataracts that could lead to blindness; as the months pass, Samantha is unable to roll, crawl or talk, and her head is unusually small for her age; her parents seek help. When her newborn brother begins exhibiting the same symptoms, a genetic test finds that the two children are sufferers of Cockayne syndrome, a genetic disorder which causes premature aging.
