Overview
When Hurricane Katrina tore into New Orleans, Zack Bowen and Addie Hall didn’t run. Instead, they stayed behind in the silent French Quarter, creating a chaotic, boozy paradise they called "romance at the end of the world." But when the power came back on and reality crept in, their survivalist fairytale turned into a nightmare of addiction, paranoia, and rage inside an apartment right above a Voodoo temple. It all ended on a Tuesday in October, starting with a cryptic note found in a pocket and ending with a police discovery so disturbing it became local folklore. This is the disastrous story of Zack Bowen and Addie Hall.
