Overview
In the spring of 1077, Quach Quy led 100,000 soldiers, 20,000 translators and 10,000 war horses to cross the Nam Quan pass and enter our country. Faced with the fierce spirit and overwhelming force of the Song army, Ly Thuong Kiet chose a defensive strategy, mobilizing the entire population to build a key line on the Nhu Nguyet River. And it was on the Nhu Nguyet Giang line that we fought a decisive battle, completely extinguishing the will to invade the Song Dynasty, forcing Dai Tong to acknowledge Dai Viet as a country.
