Overview

India - a country of contrasts, a country where half the population don't have access to proper sanitation. In this very emotional episode Kenny meets the Dalit women of Alwar in Rajisthan, a caste of "untouchables" not considered part of society. He accompanies them on their collection rounds as they clean the streets of human excrement ringing bells so that the townsfolk can avoid them. But he also meets a group of volunteers who have set up a school to educate these beautiful women and their children and try to break them out of the caste cycle. In Deli, while attending the World Toilet Summit and Expo, Kenny is invited to give a speech, and he catches up with tv commercial director Prahlad Kakaar who has made a film called 'Bumbay' to raise awareness of the sanitation problems the city of Mumbai faces today.
