Overview

Master chocolatier Max Brenner joined the kitchen for the Savoury but Sweet Challenge. After showing his biscuit‑tuile nachos and chocolate burger, he gave the cheflings 80 minutes to create dishes that looked savoury but tasted sweet. The kids embraced the brief: Jack placed third with his spaghetti and meatballs, Zac second with a sweet pie, and Indigo won with a brilliant twist on meat and three veg. That night the kids enjoyed a MasterChef first — a slumber party — and were woken by Santa, suspiciously similar to George. Their presents revealed the core ingredients for a Christmas‑themed Invention Test. Lily earned two points for third place, Zac continued his strong run in second, and Greta once again dominated, winning six points with her peppered mushroom tarts to maintain her lead.
