The Hope Diamond is a legendary 45.52-carat, deep grayish-blue diamond renowned for its size, rarity (Type IIb), and a supposed, historic curse. Currently located at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C., it is considered "priceless" and is one of the world's most famous gems.
