Amanda and Mariah

Overview

Amanda is a mother of two who is also raising her boyfriend's son from a previous relationship. Pregnant with their first child together, Amanda believes she should give her baby up to a same-sex couple due to her family's economic situation. Mariah is eight-months pregnant with her second child. Although she loves being a mother, she knows she cannot afford another child and doesn't want to turn out like many other girls in her community: a young, struggling, single mother.
