Overview
Lay judges (Swedish: Nämndemän) receive three hours of training, are appointed by politicians, and are not required to know law. Yet, they have as much power in the courts as professional judges. In this program series, comedian Messiah Hallberg examines various parts of our Swedish society and asks the question: how the hell did we end up here?
