Sandy returns to the village and is delighted to meet her grandson for the first time. But her happiness is short-lived when she finds out Freddie is being investigated for murder. Freddie and Lindsey panic when they find out about DS Thorpe’s plot, and in an effort to keep their affair secret, Freddie puts Joe in danger. Meanwhile, Robbie breaks up with Phoebe, and Jason’s eating disorder takes a turn for the worse.
