Overview

Smita is living with her domineering mother-in-law after her husband Rishi mysteriously disappears. Burdened by social judgment, workplace harassment, and suppressed desire, Smita's stagnant life is disrupted when Samarth, a charming young musician, becomes the new paying guest in her house. A charged relationship develops between them, awakening Smita's long-buried desires and sense of self, even as secrets, jealousy, and misunderstandings threaten to destroy it. Just as Smita begins to reclaim happiness and agency, her estranged husband unexpectedly returns, forcing her to confront her past and choose between societal duty and personal liberation.
