Overview
In the heart of Zululand, South Africa, lies the oldest game reserve on the African continent – Hluhluwe-iMfolozi. Here, Southern white rhinos have found protection from people in times of turmoil. Hunted almost to extinction at the end of the 19th century, the park’s establishment gave rhinos a lifeline – breeding them back from extinction.
