Fire and Water

Overview

In this special competition, Forged in Fire pays homage to Korean bladesmithing by challenging four smiths to recreate the Hwando sword and attempt the dreaded water quench. After achieving this delicate balance between fire and water, two smiths advance to the final round where they must recreate the fearsome Korean Woldo. Two smiths will test their battle-ready Woldos, but only one will emerge victorious with $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire champion.
