Overview
Ning Que and his group face an ambush by forces sent by Tang's General Xia Hou, which they successfully defeat. Meanwhile, Hou returns to the capital, where he appears to be planning something, and the Adjudication Department attempts to eliminate the Guangming Faction. Longqing, the Son of Light, is tasked with finding the Gate of the Mo Sect, leaving his lover Lu Chenjia behind. Additionally, Tang's national advisor, Li Qingshan, begins to suspect something is amiss.
