Overview

Nicki Chapman heads to the Welsh Borders with a retired couple of keen gardeners who have £500,000 to plough into buying a peaceful home in the country. While in the area, Nicki meets one of the very few weathervane makers left in the UK and, while trying her hand at creating one, she learns why it has been such a striking symbol gracing the tops of churches and manor houses across the countryside for centuries.
