Overview

Bob and Val create the idea of a VE celebration as a cover to get people to attend Eric's birthday party the following day. Val ends up admitting to Bob that she has fallen for Eric. Over at the council meeting Eric rejects Glynis admitting that his feelings lie with Val. Debbie and Cain face the village for the first time with baby Sarah. Meanwhile, Jack tells a stunned audience at the pub that Andy is the father of Debbie's baby. Elsewhere Louise tells Val that last night with Matthew was a one off. Val reassures her that her secret is safe.
