Devdutt Pattanaik discusses the many nature gods that predate the idea or school of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva in this episode. He narrates stories of these Vedic gods and goddesses, highlighting their origins, characteristics, appearances and functions. He also draws a comparison between the Vedic gods of India and that in the Roman and Greek culture, like Indra and Zeus, Mitra and Jesus.
