Plants and trees are natures processors of solar energy which is vital for our existence. Plants, trees, flowers and fruits have been worshiped by Hindus since a long time. Hindu sages and seers have eulogized peepal, bel, banyan tree, amla etc. In this episode, Devdutt Pattanaik talks about the association of trees and plants with deities in Hindu mythology.
