Overview
Washoku, traditional Japanese cuisine, is characterized by its uncompromising attention to seasonal ingredients, taste and presentation. In 2013, it was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. On this episode of DESIGN TALKS, our hosts visit a restaurant owned by celebrity chef Toru Okuda to explore the exquisite beauty of Japanese design as reflected in washoku.
