Overview
Renato cries when he realizes he is paralyzed from the waist down. Júlia affirms that they will fight together so that he can regain his movement. Renato insists that he doesn't want Júlia to stay by his side out of pity, but she reaffirms her love and companionship for her husband. Júlia reacts upon learning that Renato saved Chico's life. Selma puts a pill in Diogo's drink. He loses consciousness; she, in lingerie, lies down on the bed. Andréa, who is waiting for Diogo for dinner, gets tired of waiting and decides to go to the boat. Arriving there, she is horrified to see a woman in bed with Diogo.
