Overview
Peter Snow and former Marine Arthur Williams provide a recap of the day and reveal what happened to each of the seven selected people who were there during the Normandy landings. The programme draws on research by historian Colin Henderson, who has spent 15 years analysing archive material on D-Day to identify individuals, locations and timings, and features expert insights from former British Army officer Colonel Tim Collins and frontline journalist Lorna Ward.
