Overview

The crew of the cutter Searcher are on patrol off Cornwall when they spot a lone yacht sailing from the Canaries - a frequent transit point for cocaine. In Dover, a giant X-ray helps officers tackle industrial-scale smuggling in the thousands of trucks which pass through the port each day. In Bristol, a man coming from Turkey is caught with 5,000 cigarettes - well over the limit - and reacts angrily when told he's going to lose the lot.
