Overview

Ellie Harrison and Adam Henson are in the English Midlands to mark the 20th anniversary of the National Forest. The planting of millions of trees has transformed a landscape scarred for generations by mining. Adam finds out what it takes to survive outdoors in the heart of the forest, while Ellie explores the arboretum planted in honour of our fallen service men and women. John Craven heads to Northumberland on the trail of salmon poachers, and James Wong is in Norfolk to help with the annual lavender harvest.
