Checkmate TV Show launches a brand new chess tournament and TV series hosted by TV celebrity Anna Richardson and commentated by Simon Williams, a chess Grandmaster himself from Mediterranean Malta sister’s island Gozo. Checkmate TV Show is for the uninitiated it is an introduction to a fascinating world of chess. For the non-experienced player, it is an opportunity to learn more about chess and for those, they are experienced great games to watch. The series is built around world class players and their games as they progress through a specially staged tournament. Players competing for the main cash prize 20,000 euros and Checkmate trophy.
