Overview

It's dawn and the TAC is preparing for the final battle. The team prepares the Kushinada pulse amplifying machine while Momiji prepares herself for the Rite of Matsuri. With less than an hour until the solar eclipse, Kaede begins the ceremony by touching a sword to the field around Susano-oh. Susano-oh begins to mutate into a big, ugly nasty beastie. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is being persuaded by his aide to lie to the people of Japan to keep them calm and under control. The Minister goes on television, but instead of lying to the people, he tells the truth. He informs them that the problems have been caused by an ancient race of monsters called the Arigami, and that the Kushinada is the only one with the power to stop them. Momiji comes onto television, requesting that the people of Japan give her a chance to live. She wants to try an alternate method to kill Susano-oh, but if her plan does not work, she will accept her fate and sacrifice herself. Momiji begins the rite of matsur
