Overview
More than 3,000 years ago the island of Santorini broke apart in the biggest volcanic eruption ever seen in the ancient world - some believe it may be the event that caused the seventh, eighth and ninth plagues described in the Bible. Today in Egypt, archaeologists have found evidence of a sudden mass departure of a Semitic people - the Hyksos. Final Torments will use the latest discoveries to try to shed new light on one of the Bibles oldest stories - the story of Exodus.
