Overview

Eight new hopefuls throw down the gauntlet to compete for one solitary spot in the Tournament of Champions. If they survive to win tonight's Slugfest, they'll face three legendary BattleBots Champions and all the Slugfest winners in the final Champions tournament. Their goal is the glittering new trophy: the Golden Bolt! Tonight's winner must get through three grueling elimination rounds featuring the toughest competition imaginable -- including Cobalt, with its vicious vertical weapon; Jackpot, the hometown heroes from Vegas; and Canada's premier flip bot, Lucky. A winner takes all, and the loser gets nothing. It's the ultimate raw fight to the death.
