Overview

What influence does the quickly growing ‘sharing economy’-based company AirBnB have on the social structure of a city? AirBnB's motto: Share your house, make new friends and get rich while sleeping. Those who can afford it buy an appartement, hire a cleaner, and permanently rents it out to tourists. No banks or shares offer a beter return. But what does a city end up being if many of it's inhabitants only stay for just a couple of days? This episode paints a portret of the city of Amsterdam in the age of AirBnB, including happy tourists, abusers, perfect hosts, victims and informers.
