Overview

Sal Masekela schools Joy Bryant at parkour while they discuss Sal's childhood in a mostly white town, how he got into surfing, and why he calls surfing "breakdancing on water". They learn some new skills at the Tempest Freerunning Academy in Los Angeles and Sal takes us through his journey, from being a waiter in a beach town to the face of the X Games. Joy and Sal also discuss what his dad thought about his first album and his mentoring program, Stoked.
